Security Administrator

RSC2 is seeking a highly motivated and talented Security Administrator to support the RSC2 Corporate office. This position is fully remote but the individual must reside in the state of Maryland.
A typical day as a Security Administrator may include:
  • Coordinates personnel security clearance requirements with the 32 CFR 117 National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) rules and various government entities
  • Updates and delivers required security awareness education
  • Conducts briefing and debriefing for cleared/non-cleared employees/consultants to include orientation, annual and foreign travel
  • Interacts with government security support staff and Trusted Agents
  • Utilizes the Access Control System to generate badges for employees, contractors and visitors
  • Administers and processes incoming/outgoing visit requests
  • Maintains all security documentation and files accurately and in accordance with requirements
  • Processes employees for Common Access Cards
  • Completes SAAR-Ns as required
  • Conducts NATO Briefings/De-briefings
  • Conducts Courier Briefings and assigns Courier Cards
  • Creates and maintains personnel security folders
  • Updates and maintains the company quarterly Security Newsletter
  • Provides support to the Headquarters Front Desk for monitoring of access and phone coverage as needed
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 years of administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in Adobe
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to speak in front of 10+ people
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
Desired Skills: :
  • Possess creativity for developing new training packages and designing Security Newsletter
Work Location: Remote. Based out of Maryland.
