We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team!
Requirements:
Minimum active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
8 years of direct relevant experience may be substituted for education
5 years+ of experience as an Electrical Engineering supporting the DoD.
Experience interacting with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design.
Experience participating in the development of test strategies.
Capable of solving engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned.
Responsibilities:
Write and review documentation.
Repairs cables and circuits cards
Understand power and electrical requirements.
Soldering, and making cables to Mil-Spec/electrical standards
Understand, review, and develop electrical, wiring schematics.
Evaluation, test, and analyze test data.
Review and / or develop test procedures, acceptance test plans, system acceptance tests, regression tests etc. for electro-mechanical systems.
Build, repair, and troubleshoot cable harnesses.
Wire components according to pinout.
Analyze captured system data.
Review and develop test procedures, acceptance test plans, system acceptance tests, regression tests etc.
Define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products systems and components or modifications.
Participates in final system integration and validation to identify functional problems
Ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry or government specific standards
Identifies chronic or systemic problems in testing, then develops and implements improvements or remediation's.
May coordinate with vendors or suppliers to modify or develop testing for components or other parts.
