RSC2 is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our growing team in Hanover, MD to support the EW&C Team! This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing team in the early stages of a newly awarded 5-year task order with multiple opportunities for upward advancement supporting EW&C. The EW&C program delivers critical capabilities to counter current and future threats, enabling the next generation of warfighting capabilities from sensor to Soldier worldwide. By applying game changing cyber technologies through agile development methodology, we enable battlefield dominance for our Warfighters. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborates with stakeholders and contractors to accomplish technical activities applicable to development and integration of software capabilities.
Participates in the development and implementation of system engineering strategies.
Reviews and assesses developmental contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with government-provided regulations and standards. Participates in government oversight of contractor engineering activities, to include as a supporting team member in agile development paradigm activities within the Software Agile Framework (SAFe).
Generates recommendations to the government regarding system engineering, planning, requirements prioritization, design, and system integration.
Provides integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems.
Active TS/SCI Clearance
8 years of direct experience with system engineering
5 years of experience with DoD 5000 acquisition lifecycle processes
3 years of experience with software development
Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework
Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira and Confluence)
Excellent communications skills including the ability to generate focused technical documentation on complex topics
Must be able to work in a team environment and execute tasks on-quality and on-time
Ability to work on, and/or lead, multi-functional/multi-disciplinary teams.
Education and Certification Requirements:
BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline.
Four years of additional experience may be substituted for degree
