We are looking for an Army IT Cross Domain Engineer SME to join our growing company! This position supports the Army Network Operations Center (NOC) at APG, MD. This position is a leading member of the organization and supports the NOC program and leadership. The Cross Domain Engineer SME applies government instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide cross domain solution expertise in the analysis of COCOM Data Owner Guidance (DOG) to define cross domain policies.
Provide expert engineering, integration, test and sustainment support for the transition from the existing NOC point to point (P2P) CDS capabilities, to satisfy the requirements of an Enterprise CDS provider capability, without disruption of mission support requirements.
Integrate and deploy required CDS capabilities into the NOC infrastructure across all sites.
Support Government leadership at forums and other information exchanges to provide expertise in resolving CDS challenges.
Provide SME for cross domain policy analysis, design, and implementation support to configure and validate CDS access and transfer capabilities integrated within government networks.
Support temporary duty travel to program locations for local CDS support requirements.
Support government cybersecurity accreditation tasks requiring CDS subject matter expertise.
Support CDS requirements analysis and implementation in support of test and exercise events.
Requirements:
MA or MS from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study.
At least 10 years of experience as a Computer or Systems Engineer within the DOD environment.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in addition to the above may be substituted for the education/degree requirement.
Practical experience with configuring, deploying and accrediting cross domain systems in classified network environments required.
Minimum of at least 1 year of military communication or C2 domain experience
