Salary at RSC2 is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $66,247 - $139,546 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical total compensation range for this position. This position is contingent upon contract award and government funding.
RSC2 is currently looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and recommend acquisition strategies for Government procurements.
- Prepare acquisition plans, source-selection plans, Requests for Proposals, determinations, justifications, and other acquisition documentation.
- Coordinate source-selection documentation, evaluator action items, technical evaluations, and proposal cost and price analyses.
- Lead contract-administration activities and support assessments of contractor cost, schedule, technical performance, and program budgets.
- Support large, major, complex, and first-time procurements using appropriate competitive, contract-type, Government-wide contract, and blanket-purchase-agreement approaches.
- Structure complex solicitations, contract line items, specifications, statements of work, evaluation criteria, and procurement-specific clauses.
- Prepare planning and justification documentation and support procurement actions before approval authorities.
- Negotiate, source, award, and administer procurement contracts in accordance with customer requirements and applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare contractor-consent packages, purchase orders, change orders, correspondence, reports, and supporting procurement records.
- Maintain procurement files and purchasing databases in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and company policies.
- Locate sources, request quotations, evaluate bids, select qualified sources, and track and expedite orders.
- Support procurement training, program implementation, stakeholder liaison, meetings, program reviews, and special projects.
- Research procurement best practices and identify cost-reduction and cost-savings opportunities.
- Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience
