Work Location: Hybrid/Remote Eligible, with required availability to report to FEMA Headquarters in Washington, DC

Salary at RSC2 is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $59,642 - $125,045 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical total compensation range for this position. This position is contingent upon contract award and government funding.
RSC2 is currently looking for a Junior Procurement Specialist to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Work under the limited direction of a team lead or Program Manager.
- Perform market research in support of Government acquisition requirements.
- Assist Government personnel by recommending or reviewing acquisition strategies and program-management alternatives for consideration by the Government Contracting Officer.
- Lead coordination of source-selection documentation supporting past performance assessments and proposal-pricing reviews.
- Obtain appropriate rate and technical-review information to support the Government’s evaluation of contractor proposals.
- Enter contract data into Government contract-management systems.
- Provide administrative support for complex contracts of various types.
- Support cost, schedule, and technical analyses of contractor performance.
- Support projects involving services, supplies, research and development, and major integrated programs.
- Independently research Government directives, policies, and applicable statutes related to assigned areas of responsibility.
- Compile information and perform assessments.
- Participate in and support meetings and program reviews.
- Perform outreach and liaison activities.
- Prepare draft written materials.
- Education: BA/BS or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 3 yrs experience
