SETA Duties:

The Cost Analyst at the BMD Staff level will be expected to perform a wide variety of cost analysis assignments in support of the program life cycle cost estimates (LCCE).  Develop program office estimates (POEs) and Spruill Charts in support of Program of Records across PM EW&C.  Develop or evaluate cost assessments, cost positions relating to the systems development, demonstration and production approaches. Assess impact on systems and program costs, including analyses of prototype systems. Work with SMEs to develop independent Government cost estimates (IGCEs) that will stand up to Army and DoD level review. Coordinate with DASA-CE personnel.   Support CAPE Briefs and CARD Cost Assessments.  Cost Analyst will provide cost guidance and information to meet program requirements.  Cost Analyst will be expected to be skilled in ACEIT and build Cost Estimates using that model.  Shall be skilled in Excel and pivot tables.

DAU Cost Accounting Courses (Preferred)
ACEIT certification.
