- Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by common area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments Part identification or inspection, or cataloging commercial parts. Preparing parts list, stockroom work, identifying parts, selection, replacement or substitution of commercial parts. Capable of transcribing selected source data onto data processing load sheets.
T7A - Performs logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product. Develops and implements logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; resolves logistics problems; and compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities. Assists in the Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) planning and implementation to include maintenance plan, supply support, support and test equipment, transportation and handling, technical data, training, logistic resource funding. Prepares logistics input for operational requirements documents, performance specifications, life-cycle support estimates, and other program documentation. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Army supply and logistics policies and regulations
Army property accountability systems and procedures including GCSS-A, PBUSE and LMP
Experience implementing logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, and provisioning
Planning and coordinating shipping, fielding, and demilitarization activities
