We are looking for a Budget Analyst to join our growing company! This position is a leading member of the organization and supports the RS3’s program and leadership. The Budget Analyst will apply expertise and working knowledge of DOD financial execution processes and reporting to the budget planning, execution, and reconciliation of all appropriations allocated or provided to the Army Product Manager, with appropriate Government oversight.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze historical funding execution data to develop budgets and spend plans that will execute funds in a timely manner, and in accordance with the program's acquisition strategies and OSD standardized goals.
Generate funding documentation and reports using the internal office database.
Analyze fund cite elements and data, and track funds through the stages of execution, interface with counterparts in DoD Accounting and Finance, and Contracting offices, and reconcile data from these sources to the internal documents and database; and report on discrepancies and make recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
DoD TS/SCI Clearance and/or eligibility is required.
US Citizen
Experience with Standard Operation and Maintenance Army Research and Development Systems (SOMARDS) database
Experience with the General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS)
Experience with GFEBS-Sensitive Activities (GFEBS-SA)
Experience with Logistics Management Program (LMP)
Experience with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF)
Experience with G-Invoice software
6 years of experience with Degree. Business Administration, Business Management or a Finance Degree is preferred.
10 years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
