IT Program Manager

We are looking for an IT Project Manager to join our growing company! This position supports The Drug Enforcement Administration in Arlington.

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Will manage and supervise multiple IT projects.
  • Responsible for resource scheduling and able to properly assign tasks to the proper team.
  • Managing project schedules and proactively oversee project activities.
  • Managing risk and communicating project issues and its impact to schedules.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations Manage delivery of enterprise software, hardware, and network IT projects.
  • Manage and coordinate the full SDLC lifecycle to include planning, designing, implementing, integrating, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise in-house web-based applications.
  • Analyze and understand change requests to be able to integrate into existing application.
  • Maintain positive and effective working relationships with senior management.
  • Maintain a positive working environment for all team members by effectively leading, mentoring, coaching, and constantly looking to improve the working environment.
  • Experience managing large scale, multi-dependent project plans, with resource leveling.
  • Understand middleware and Custom Off The Shelf (COTS) product and its role in developing enterprise applications.
  • Understand and be able to integrate into a master schedule the upgrades to hardware, operating systems, and COTS software as well as integration of new hardware as it pertains to the operation of the enterprise applications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to handle complex problems under difficult situations.
  • Experiences in Waterfall, Agile, and DevSecOps a plus.

  • Must be a US Citizen; be able to obtain a Public Trust.
  • Ability to pass a government suitability background check.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of eight years (8 years) of management experience in at least one of the following areas - information technology project management, development, assessment, and implementation of projects, including web-based systems.
