We are looking for an Integration Division Network Engineer to join our growing company! This position supports the PM EW&C Integration Division for USAEUR, CEMA, and MDTF ONS acquisition management activities. Serves as SETA support to the PM EW&C Integration Division. PM EW&C is the assigned Office or Primary Responsibility (OPR) for the Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA), United States Army Europe (USAEUR), and the 1st Multi Domain Task Force (MDTF) Operational Needs Statement (ONS). The Network Engineer provides engineering expertise in pursuit of technical and policy solutions to fielded and future ONS electronic warfare systems, tactical enterprise, and challenges facing the Army’s current and future forces.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Requires technical expertise in the areas of communications network engineering, satellite communications, architecture, analysis, development, and network operations support.
Understand current and emerging Army network protocols, capabilities, limitations, and current operational use cases.
Knowledgeable of System of Systems (SoS) architecture development, including next generation technology insertion strategies, and integration planning of future C4ISR and EW capabilities.
Provide analysis, assessments, and test evaluation of potential high payoff communications capabilities in support of the CEMA and USAEUR ONS sustainment and the MDTF ONS support plan.
Responsible for independently ensuring EW equities are considered in the design, modification, and installation of existing and future network infrastructure.
Discusses and assists in the resolution of interrelated operating procedures and policies to integrate activities and achieve compatible and smooth operation.
Determines practicality, advisability, feasibility and economic implications involved in the sustainment, procurement, and integration of CEMA, USAEUR, and MDTF ONS materiel solutions with the tactical communication systems.
Conceives new concepts and approaches to resolve engineering problems.
Identifies existing or potential problems and provides engineering advice and guidance and/or directs a course of action to resolve engineering matters.
Develops presentations for support activities and/or higher headquarters to summarize results of actions against predetermined plans, current status or plans, progress, deficiencies, and outstanding accomplishments.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline.
Clearance: TS/SCI (objective), Secret (threshold)
Years experience: 5+ years of experience
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal skills, proven verbal and written communications, and the ability to work on multi-functional teams in a fast-paced development environment
Ability to self-start and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills
Minimum of 20% travel required to Army and contractor locations within CONUS.
