We are looking for a Project Managerto join our growing company! This role will support the US Department of Education Office of Finance and Operations, Office of Enterprise Data Analytics and Risk Management (OEDARM) Enterprise Data Analytics Risk Management Services and Tools (EDARMST). Edison is the OEDARM’s suite of digital tools. The government requires user, password, role, and incident management; daily monitoring of data feeds; and monthly controls testing to support FISMA compliance. The Project Manager leads advisory and support activities in establishment of high-functioning digital service and analytical practices designed to successfully identify and manage risks, strengthen internal controls, and inform strategic planning and decision-making across the Department, including:
Sustainment and continual improvement of the Edison suite of tools.
Creation of new digital tools.
Support and execution of analytical projects.
Capacity building for OEDARM staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and submit deliverable in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
Lead and direct Edison Tools Operations & Maintenance activities.
Serve in Agile roles such as Product Owner and Scrum Master depending on development task(s).
Support planning and execution of analytics and business intelligence projects.
Coaches the team in appropriate problem-solving methods and assists the team and/or individual members in identifying the parameters of viable solutions.
Balance workload and distribute tasks among employees in accordance with skill level. Adjust as needed to accomplish tasks in accordance with established priorities and deadlines; and ensures that each individual member has an integral role in developing final team products.
Monitors the status and progress of work, ensuring that established priorities, deadlines and expected level of quality have been met.
Communicates effectively with contract team and sponsor team.
Has appropriate PM certifications (PMP or equivalent), Agile Certification, Certified Scrum Master
5 or more years in a Project Management and Scrum Master roles
